During our time in Guatemala, we accompanied Dan several times when he was visiting communities and families served by Unbound. We had the precious opportunity to meet one of the girls we sponsor and her grandmother, who's raising her. We had experiences that were life-changing for the kids and deeply humbling and inspiring for all of us.
We visited a mother and her six children. Her husband left to look for work two years ago, and they haven't heard from him since. She enthusiastically invited us inside to take refuge from the rain.
